ARGOS OT Examples

The following describe setting up the components of an ARGOS example:

Example 1: ARGOS Collimation Example
Example 2: ARGOS Science Example

Import the LUCI DL ESM ARGOS Library into the OT so that you can copy and paste already built templates into your Science Program.

In the LUCI-DL-ESM-ARGOS-Library, expand the:

Folder. This Folder contains Examples and Templates for both LUCI1, LUCI2, and Fraternal. Expand the Folder for the desired setup. Set your observation up with either the appropriate: Imaging, Long-slit, MOS templates provided. Script generation is described more here.

Highlight the Template and then click COPY in the Main Toolbar.

Back in the *empty* Science Program PASTE the observations by hitting PASTE in the Main Toolbar.

Each template folder contains an ARGOS Collimation Observation and ARGOS Science Template. Every ARGOS Observation must start with an ARGOS Collimation Observation, followed by the Science Observations. There are several subtleties that differ these observations from regular AO or other LUCI observations.
