Photon Counters

The photon counters measure the light at the spectrograph end of the fiber, when the beam is sliced and injected into the spectrograph. 1% of the light is diverted to the photon counter.

The photon counter can be used to set a minimum exposure time, where the detector will readout once a set number of counts have been collected on an object in a particular configuration.
