Standards
(under construction — adding fields which contain fainter stars with magnitudes from SDSS + UKIDSS Y, and Clem & Landolt faint fields around dec=+40 — 2024-01-18).
Selected Landolt and other standard star fields are listed in the table below. These stars are very bright and require exposure times of order seconds. LBC OBs for these fields are provided. These OBs have been constructed so as to position the standard stars at the centers of each of the 4 chips, starting at the rotator center of chip 2 and to cycle through all filters, taking 2 exposure per filter per dither. Clicking on the name of the field in the first column will bring up a DSS image with an overlay of the LBC footprint at the first dither position. Regions files are provided also since it may be difficult to distinguish stars close to one another on the image. The standard stars are circled and labeled; red labels mean the star is so bright that it will saturate in even 1 second. Standard scripts are available in the OT library.
