About
Joannah is an associate research professor at the University of Arizona and joined the LBT as Deputy Director in June 2024. Previously she worked as an associate staff scientist at the MMT Observatory. Her research interests include star formation and dust in nearby galaxies. She worked in the Spitzer MIPS instrument team and was a member of the Spitzer Survey of Stellar Structure in Galaxies (S4G) team. She also worked on the Key Insights on Nearby Galaxies: a Far-Infrared Survey with Herschel (KINGFISH) project with data from the Herschel Space Observatory.
