About
Jon joined the LBT as a Service Observer in 2025. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Exeter, working on robust age determinations for young, nearby star clusters, and was previously a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Arizona and UC San Diego.
Jon moved into observatory support in 2019 as the Observatory Manager at New Mexico State University. He moved to Lick Observatory as a Support Astronomer in 2020, where he supported AO operations and provided on-call support, recovery, and training to the observer community.
