Element Editor

The Element Editor is the panel in the OT where the PI defines their observations using text boxes, drop down menus, radio buttons, etc. to specify observing conditions, targets, instrument set-ups, sequences, etc.

The element that appears in the editor is selected by the user in the Science Program Tree. So for instance, a user who selects the the Main Program Component from the tree, will see the Main Program Editor appear in the Element Editor — and can then fill out the general information about the program including the title, contact information, etc.

Selecting any component in the Science Program Tree will display the corresponding editor in the Element Editor Tab. Thus selecting the Target Component of LUCI Observation [2] would yield the following:
